- Assessing situations and taking appropriate action in line with procedures and training.
- Assisting service users using approved equipment following training and risk assessment.
- Installing, testing, maintaining and collecting telecare equipment.
- Accurately updating service user records and documentation using our systems.
- Working safely and independently while remaining connected to the wider Careium team.
What We Are Looking For
- A caring and calm approach, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
- Confidence working independently in a lone-working, field-based role.
- Willingness to work a rolling rota including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for travel between service users).
- Basic IT skills and attention to detail when recording information.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
Experience That Would Be an Advantage
- Experience in telecare, emergency response, health, housing or social care.
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and lone-working practices.
