The Role

As a Telecare Field Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering telecare support to customers in their own homes and supported housing. Fitting/replacing or repairing equipment.

This is a field-based, lone-working role operating on a Monday to Friday role, with added on call shifts worked on a rota basis (including nights and weekends).

What You Will Be Doing

  • Going out daily to install, repair or replace telecare equipment.
  • Providing calm, empathetic reassurance and support explaining how to use the equipment.
  • Assessing situations and taking appropriate action in line with procedures and training.
  • Accurately updating service user records and documentation using our systems.
  • Working safely and independently while remaining connected to the wider Careium team.

What We Are Looking For

  • A caring and calm approach, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
  • Confidence working independently in a lone-working, field-based role.
  • Willingness to work a rolling rota including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
  • Full UK driving license Company vehicle is provided
  • Basic IT skills and attention to detail when recording information.
  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Experience That Would Be an Advantage

  • Experience in telecare, emergency response.
