We’re looking for a Product Test & Support Solutions Engineer to play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, performance and ongoing support of telecare and Technology Enabled Care (TEC) solutions used to support vulnerable people.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role combining product testing, technical troubleshooting, and stakeholder collaboration, where your work directly contributes to delivering safe, dependable services to customers and end users.
What will you do:
- Product Testing & Validation: Design and execute test plans, UAT regimes and validation processes for new and existing products.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Support device connectivity and telecare system issues for internal teams, customers and third parties.
- Incident Management: Manage and resolve technical incidents and escalations using case management systems.
- System Diagnostics: Diagnose issues across monitoring platforms, signalling paths, and system configurations.
- Product Rollouts: Support product launches, pilots, and continuous service improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Development, IT and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, test evidence and procedures.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing: Deliver training and provide technical knowledge to internal teams and clients where required.
What we would like to see in your CV:
- Relevant Experience: Background in telecare/TEC, technical support, or product testing/UAT.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities.
- Testing Knowledge: Ability to design and follow structured test plans and validation processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer service mindset.
- Technical Capability: Understanding of IP networking, telecoms, or connectivity principles.
- Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Organisation: Ability to prioritise workload and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
- Specialist Knowledge: Experience with monitoring platforms (e.g. UMO, PNC, Jontek, EVO).
- Networking Knowledge: Understanding of routers, switches, and connectivity principles.
- Additional Skills: Exposure to telecare protocols or basic coding.
